![]() Tales of symphonia chronicles figurine trophy series#Destiny is the second game in the main series and features a linear motion battle system. Better late than never right? First I’ll give you some background about Destiny! This game was released in 1998 in the US and belongs to NamcoBandai’s Tales Of Series. I will now leave you with a quote that accurate describes Rean’s (the main character’s) girl troubles! Until next time Remember Play Hard, Play Often!Ī few weeks ago I completed, for the first time ever, Tales of Destiny. The third (and I’m guessing last game) has just been announced so the second game may end of a cliff hanger as well T-T. Of course if I didn’t I would’ve been sooooooooooo mad. I can’t really say anything bad about this game except for the game ends on a huge cliffhanger but it didn’t bother me because I procrastinated playing this until the second one was out. My first time thru I logged 90+ hours by the time I finished my second playthru and got the platinum trophy I was at around 150 hours. There’s lots of story and side quests to keep you entertained. I hear Xseed put lots of effort into translating this properly and I believe it. One of my favorite things is the game is the superb writing, especially the way the characters talk and interact. The game does a great job of explaining the world to the player but if you need/want more info you can actually read more in the school library. ![]() The world/politics of Erebonia are detailed and built very well too. The instructors at the academy are memorable and NPCs even have some background. The students of Class VII have diverse backgrounds and are lovable in their own right. The battles use a fun turn-based system that allows you to steal an enemies turn and use a s-break (super arte like a limit break) if you have enough CP. Artes and crafts, magic and abilities in this game, are obtained with quartz (Materia) which can be equipped at will. So your rank increases without any of those annoying seed tests huzzah! You can also build bonds with your classmates for special attacks and special scenes later on in the game. You increase your rank via AP which you earn depending on how well you perform your tasks or missions. You have Class VII, a special bunch of military students (read: seed) going on missions (read: seed missions) all over the country of Erebonia. ![]() I swear this game is the love child of Final Fantasy 8 and Persona topped with some Final Fantasy 7. *Clears throat* Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanyways on to Trails of Cold Steel. ![]() So I didn’t finish the first this game before the second game came out due to a recent Pokemon addiction (This is all Pokemon Go’s fault!) Instead of playing ToCS I was playing FireRed and OmegaRuby in that order lol. ![]()
